Why is sun protection important for your skin  ?

Hi K-SECRET Lovers! Summer is almost here and the sunlight is getting strong. For preparing a perfect and healthy summer, I'd like to discuss the importance of sun protection (Sunblock / Sunscreen / Suncream)

Before taking up the main subject, I want to ask the question "What is UV radiation?"

UV radiation is the invisible energy that exists in the sun and has three types of light, UVA, UVB, and UVC.

-UVA rays are longer rays that can enter the middle layer of skin.

-UVB rays are shorter rays that can arrive at the outer layer of skin

These rays can attack your skin. Have you gotten sunburn from sunlight? It's the sign of damage.

Why is sun protection important?

1. It helps protects you from harmful UV rays and prevent skin cancer.

The article I found in Korea says the main factors of skin cancer are heredity and prolonged exposure to UV rays. Also, according to Skin Cancer Foundation, Harm from UV exposure is cumulative and it increases the probability of skin cancer over time.

You can prevent harmful UV rays causing skin cancer by putting sunblock on a daily basis. In a nutshell, the best and easiest way of preventing skin cancer is applying sunblock.

 2. Sunblock helps make even skin-tone.

Are you worried about reddish skin and dull skin caused by sunburn and sunlight? Only with sunblock, you can solve and shield this problem.

Most of irregular skin tone by sun damage can be prevented by putting sunblock thoroughly. Apply your sunblock on not only your face and but also body including arms and legs.
